The Buckeyes got word last night that the already herculean task of playing the USC Trojans at home would take place without the services of star running back Chris “Beanie” Wells. While not unexpected, it’s certainly disappointing. That being said, this has the look of a defensive battle where special teams and field position matter, so while it will definitely impact the efficacy of the Buckeye attack, there are some other tailbacks who should be able to step in and bang it include Dan “Boom” Herron, Brandon Saine, and Maurice Wells.
